The Harbour
Master felt that he had no option
but to deal with the matter entirely
from a judicial point of view, and
from this point of view Mr. Southorn
considers that there seems to be
little doubt but that his decision
was correct.
Mr. Southron thinks that it
would have been a great deal better
had the case never been brought, but
he feels ta
that, having been brought,, the law should
take its course; and that it would be
dangerous for the Executive to interfere
with the Judiciary in a case in which
there seems to be no real doubt as to
the correctness of the verdict.
